Army Soldier Arrested for Talking About Blowing Up News Outlet

Federal authorities arrest a 24-year-old army soldier accused of talking about blowing up a major news outlet.  Jarrett Smith, a private from South Carolina stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, was charged with sharing bomb-making instructions online.  According to two sources, the network he named was CNN.  Investigators say Smith also discussed presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke as a potential target with an undercover FBI informant.

Today, a Los Angeles business executive is set to become the second parent sentenced in the college admissions scandal.  Devin Sloane has admitted to paying 250 thousand to get his son accepted into the Nniversity of Southern California as a fake water polo recruit earlier this month. Actress Felicity Huffman received 14 days in prison for her role in the scandal.

This morning, there’s new word that President Trump may have ordered a hold on nearly 400 million dollars in military aid to Ukraine.  This just days before a call with the country’s president where he talked about investigating Joe Biden’s family.  President Trump denies any wrongdoing as more democrats move toward impeachment proceedings.

Antonio Brown is going back to school.  He has apparently re-enrolled at Central Michigan University.  Brown posted a picture of his class schedule on social media. The wide receiver tweeted hat he’s done with the NFL over the weekend. The Patriots released Brown on Friday.  He’s facing sexual assault and rape allegations from two women.
