President Trump Under Impeachment Inquiry in U.S. House

President Trump now the subject of an impeachment inquiry. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi making the announcement after a whistleblower report claims Trump pressured Ukraine’s president to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son. President Trump says he will release the “unredacted transcript” of his phone call with the Ukrainian president today.

Facing Scrutiny, Wework’s CEO Stepping Down

Wework’s CEO is stepping down from the communal office-space company he founded. Adam Neumann has been facing scrutiny since august. He will be replaced by Artie Minson, formerly co-president and chief financial officer, and Sebastian Gunningham, formerly vice chairman. Neumann will stay on the company’s board as non-executive chairman.

U.S. Navy Investigating 3 Suicides On Navy Ship

The U.S. Navy is investigating after three sailors committed suicide in three separate incidents last week. The sailors were assigned to the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier off the coast of Virginia. None of the deaths seem to be related, and the sailors all worked in different departments.

Nissan Recalling Over 1 Million Cars Over It’s Backup Cameras

Nissan is recalling over one million cars, including two of its best sellers, the Rogue s-u-v and Altima sedan. It says a defect with the back-up camera allows drivers to adjust the image until its no longer visible. The problem affects vehicles manufactured on or after may first of 2018. The company says it is working on an update to fix the problem. Once they have one, they plan to release it to Nissan dealers for a free repair.

Google Rolling Out Dark Mode for G-Mail

Google is now rolling out “dark mode” for G-Mail on most mobile devices. It flips the background from white to black. Google says it helps extend your battery life and will be easier on your eyes.
