CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ridge Road Middle School will be dismissing early due to a water pressure issue at the school, according to officials from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
The school will be dismissing students at 12:30pm. All after school activities have been cancelled. Students who ride school buses will be picked up starting at 12:30pm and dropped off at their usual locations. Car pool students can be picked up starting at 12:30pm.
Maintenance crews are on site and will continue working to address the issue, according to a news release. Officials expect the school to be open tomorrow as planned. Parents will be updated this evening with more details.
Ridge Road Middle School is the only CMS school closing early today.
