LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) – Authorities say a log truck caused a wreck involving a stopped school bus and two other vehicles in South Carolina.
Master Trooper Gary Miller said the log truck hit a SUV stopped for a school bus with its red lights on along state Highway 9 about 6 miles (10 kilometers) east of Lancaster at 2:40 p.m. Monday.
Miller says the SUV then hit the bus, which hit a car stopped in the other direction.
Miller says someone waiting for a child in a driveway was hit by debris from the wreck.
The trooper says two children on the bus and the driver suffered minor injuries.
Authorities say two people involved in the wreck were taken to the hospital.
