CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Novant Health is doing its part this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The hospital is introducing new technology for early detection.
Dr. Nicole Abinanti with Mecklenburg Radiology Associates says 3D mammograms is quick and takes three-dimensional pictures showing more detail.
The technology can help cut down on visits to the doctor’s office.
