Newest Models Showing Charlotte Could Get Up To 9 Inches Of Snow

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The latest computer models are showing the potential for Charlotte to get up to 9 inches of snow Wednesday night.  

WCCB’s Chief Meteorologist Reg Taylor expects the snowfall to begin between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday evening and last until 10 a.m. Thursday.

With temperatures staying right at the freezing mark, some of the snow could be mixed with sleet causing hazardous conditions in the area.

Tuesday: High 34 Low 26

Wednesday: High 46 Low 32

Thursday: High 43 Low 26
