CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department is investigating after someone intentionally set a fire at a senior living facility in south Charlotte.
According to the CFD, more than 40 firefighters responded to the Parktowne Terrace Apartments on Fairview Road, near the intersection of Park South Drive, around 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Officials say the incident began on the fourth floor and 169 occupants were assisted from the building.
No injuries have been reported. No other details have been provided at this time.
