Fallout From Colin Kaepernick’s Workout

Colin Kaepernick’s NFL workout is stirring up some controversy!

The embattled quarterback who’s been out of the NFL since 2016 after starting the National Anthem protests held a workout Saturday for several teams. But 30 minutes before the workout was suppose to start, Kaepernick’s camp announced they were moving the event to another location 60 miles away.

According to ESPN, representatives from 8 teams still showed up… Not everyone was stoked about the workout.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith posted a 3 minute video criticizing Kap and ultimately saying he had no interest in playing in the NFL. Panthers safety and Kap’s former teammate, Eric Reid clapped backed at Smith… Reid tweeted: “tap dancing for the NFL. Colin wants to control the narrative! He’s supposed to trust the organization that blackballed him and has done absolutely nothing in good faith???”

Jay-Z felt the same way, telling people he was disappointed with the way things went down because Colin “turned a legitimate workout into a publicity stunt.”
