CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking into a reported home invasion in Dilworth. Two suspects are still on the loose as of Wednesday night. Neighbors tell WCCB Charlotte that the man who lives in the home is disabled. A cleaning woman was inside the house on Cumberland Avenue when the guys broke in.
Neighbors have been told the suspects may know the victim. “To me, it’s more comforting to know that perhaps there was some sort of relationship between the parties involved, rather than a random event,” said Dilworth resident Linda Mitchell. “And of course, it is upsetting regardless.”
CMPD has not released any information on the suspects in this case.
