IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested an Iredell County school employee on sex charges involving children.Β
A woman contacted police saying she believed her daughters were victims of sexual assaults.Β After the children were interviewed, police took 57-year-old Roger Jeffery Speaks into custody.Β He has been charged with 16 counts of indecent liberties with a child.Β
Speaks was employed at Troutman Middle School as a data controller.Β Investigators say none of the victims were students at the school.Β
