IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested an Iredell County school employee on sex charges involving children.
A woman contacted police saying she believed her daughters were victims of sexual assaults. After the children were interviewed, police took 57-year-old Roger Jeffery Speaks into custody. He has been charged with 16 counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Speaks was employed at Troutman Middle School as a data controller. Investigators say none of the victims were students at the school.
