CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a man has died from the injuries he sustained in a moped accident that happened in August 2013.
Sixty-three year old James Potts died Tuesday at Carolina’s Medical Center. Investigators say Potts struck the curb while driving his moped on Beatties Ford Road. He was thrown from the moped and landed on the sidewalk.
The crash is still under investigation by CMPD. Any witnesses are asked to call Detective Kevin Allred at 704-432-2169.
