IREDELL COUNTY, N.C.– Officials are calling the cause of an Iredell County house fire Saturday night suspicious.
Mount Mourne Fire Department responded to a working structure fire at the intersection of Alcove Road and Templeton Road.
When firefighters arrived they found a vacant single family house with heavy fire showing. The fire was controlled at 12:06 a.m.
Officials say the house sustained heavy fire damage throughout.
The Iredell County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the fire and says that the cause of the fire has been determined suspicious.
