9,600 Supporters Pack Bojangles Coliseum for Trump Rally
CHARLOTTE — More than 9-thousand people stood in line for hours before packing Bojangles Coliseum Monday. About one thousand others left disappointed because the coliseum quickly filled to capacity. Some supporters told us they just wanted to get a glimpse of him, others said they were anxious to listen to his plan to ‘Make America Great Again’.
From the clothing to the vendors even the decked out cars, supporters say attending a Trump rally is a once in a lifetime experience.
“We love that he supports American policies and the conservative movement. We don’t want a socialist president in this country,” one woman said.
“I just like the positivity in these rallies. That’s the thing that I think is the most, it’s just like going to church on Sunday’s. You get to meet like-minded people” said another supporter.
As President Trump’s procession finally made its way into the coliseum, bad news for about a-thousand people who waited all day to see him. Secret Service announced the venue was filled to capacity, and no one else would be allowed in.
Many supporters told WCCB News the economy is the big reason they planned to vote for President Trump.
