CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bystanders and lifeguards sprung into action when they saw a mom driving her minivan into the ocean in Daytona Beach.
She had three kids in the car and is pregnant! Now, Ebony Wilkerson is undergoing a mental evaluation while investigatiors decide if they will press charges. Her family members say she mentioned demons before it happened.
Tim Tesseneer, of Rutherfordton, NC, was one of those rescuers. He was in the right place at the right time and says he heard kids screaming from the back.
Tesseneer recalls the kids were scared, crying and were reaching for safety. An Orlando man helped talk to a woman and tell her it was unsafe. One of the kids was trying to grab the wheel.
