BAGRAM AIRFIELD, AFGHANISTAN – President Obama made a Memorial Day weekend visit to the troops at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. In a speech he assured soldiers that America wants to get troops out of the county by the end of next year.
Right now, there are about 32,00 Americans serving in Afghanistan. The U.S. has been fighting in Afghanistan for more than twelve years, making it the country’s longest war.
