PARIS (AP) β€” Reigning Australian Open men’s champ Stan Wawrinka (vah-VINK’-ah) was eliminated in the first round of the French Open yesterday. Today comes word that reigning women’s champ Li Na (lee nah) has lost her first-round match in Paris. Li was beaten today by France’s Kristina Mladenovic (mih-LAD’-ehn-oh-vich) 7-5, 3-6, 6-1. Li, who won the French Open title in 2011, was the second seed in Paris.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) β€” Oklahoma City can even up its best-of-seven NBA Western Final with the Spurs tonight with a win. After dropping the first two games in San Antonio the Thunder won Game 3 on Sunday as Serge Ibaka (ih-BAH’-kah) returned from a calf injury to score 15 points and pull down seven rebounds while blocking four shots.

MONTREAL (AP) β€” The New York Rangers can clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup finals with a win tonight. They top the Canadiens 3-1 and this evening’s game is being played in Montreal. The last time the Rangers were in the Stanley Cup final was 1994 when they won the championship.

LOS ANGELES (AP) β€” The Kings are just a win away from the Stanley Cup final. Los Angeles beat defending league champion Chicago 5-2 last night. What could be the final game of the series will be played will be played tomorrow night in Chicago. If the ‘Hawks win, a sixth game will take place Friday in L.A.

MIAMI (AP) β€” The Miami Heat are one win away from another appearance in the NBA Finals. They beat the Pacers last night 102-90 to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. The fifth game is being played tomorrow night in Indianapolis.
