CHARLOTTE, NC — A man found dead in a south Charlotte home that was packed with homemade explosives had been beaten to death. Autopsy results reveal 65-year-old Alva Brewer was beaten and cut multiple times.
A friend found Brewer’s body inside his home on North Sharon Amity Road in March. There’s no word on a motive for the murder, or a suspect.
