
CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Caldwell County Department of Social Services is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenage girl. Sixteen-year-old Makayla Worley was last seen on August 31 when she left a youth shelter in Gastonia.
Makayla, who sometimes goes by Kayla, has long brown hair, brown eyes, is 5’8″ and weighs 200 pounds. Authorities believe she could be in Gaston or Mecklenburg County.
