CHARLOTTE, NC — Help tonight for local breast cancer patients struggling to pay their medical bills. Kyle Busch and his wife Samantha are once again teaming up for the Project Pink, Protect Your Pair initiative. They hosted a charity dinner at Five-Church Wednesday night to raise money for women in North Carolina.
“One of the champions we met last year. She was sitting on the pit box with me and telling me how she has results at the doctors, but she didn’t want to go back and have to get charged again to go see her doctor. We were like, ‘No, go. We got it. You’re covered, like, everything’s fine,'” said Samantha Busch.
Project Pink has raised more than $144,000 and paid medical bills for at least 48 patients.
