Β CONCORD, NC —Β Local hospital workers handled a very unusual patient Thursday: a deer! Β It happened Thursday morning at CMC Northeast. Β
The deer got into the hospital through a door at the loading dock after jumping over a hedge and landing on a car. Β It broke the windshield of the car and dented the hood. Β
Hospital workers corralled the deer in a storage room until Animal Control arrived. Β They tranquilized the deer and removed it from the hospital.
