MURRELLS INLET, S.C. — A teenager was apparently bitten by a shark in Murrells Inlet, according to several media reports.
The 15-year-old boy was swimming when the shark allegedly bit his leg and hand. The boy claims he was bit on his hand after he tried to get the shark off his leg.
He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities say the teen was in chest-deep water when the attack happened.
