CHICAGO (AP) β€” It will be the Los Angeles Kings hosting the New York Rangers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals Wednesday. Marian Gaborik (GAB’-uh-rihk) scored late in regulation before Alec Martinez beat Corey Crawford at 5:47 of overtime to give the Kings a 5-4 win at Chicago in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals. Jonathan Quick stopped 37 shots for the Kings, who trailed three times in the clincher after blowing a three-games-to-one lead in the series.

DOVER, Del. (AP) β€” Jimmie Johnson earned his second victory in as many weeks by taking the checkered flag in the FedEx 400 at Dover International Speedway. Johnson led 272 of 400 laps and earned his ninth win at Dover by holding off pole-sitter Brad Keselowski. Matt Kenseth finished third, followed by Clint Bowyer (BOY’-ur) and Denny Hamlin.

DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) β€” Hideki Matsuyama (hih-DEK’-ee math-soo-YAH’-mah) parred the first playoff hole to beat Kevin Na at the Memorial. Matsuyama closed with a 3-under-par 69 for a 13-under total in his first PGA victory. Na forced a playoff with an 8-under 64 before he bogeyed the lone playoff hole.

HARRISON, N.J. (AP) β€” Goals by Fabian Johnson and Clint Dempsey led the United States over Turkey 2-1, the Americans’ second straight win in their World Cup sendoff series. Johnson scored in the 26th minute after failing to produce a goal in his 20 previous national team games. Dempsey made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute with his 37th international goal.

PARIS (AP) β€” Top seed and eight-time champion Rafael Nadal takes on Dusan Lajovic in the fourth round of the French Open today. Fifth seed David Ferrer (feh-REHR’) and No. 7 Andy Murray also have fourth-round matches, while the women’s bracket includes matches involving fourth seed Simona Halep (HAH’-lep) and American Sloane Stephens.
