PARIS (AP) β€” Rafael Nadal (rah-fay-ehl nah-DAHL’) has won again at the French Open. He defeated Dusan Lajovic of Serbia 6-1, 6-2, 6-1 for his record 32nd straight win at the French. Nadal is an eight-time French Open champion with a 63-1 record on the red clay in Paris. His only loss came in the fourth round in 2009, when he was a four-time defending champion for the first time.

CHICAGO (AP) β€” The Los Angeles Kings are headed to the Stanley Cup finals. They wrapped up the NHL’s Western Conference title last night with a 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks in Chicago. The first game of the Stanley Cup final will be Wednesday night, in Los Angeles, when the Kings entertain the New York Rangers.

TORONTO (AP) β€” Baseball has its first 10-game winner. Mark Buehrle (BUR’-lee) of the Blue Jays has the honor as he and the Jays beat the Royals yesterday 4-0. Buehrle is 10-1 on the season with a 2.10 earned run average.

DOVER, Del. (AP) β€” Jimmie Johnson won the Sprint Cup race yesterday in Dover, Del. He finished in front of pole sitter Brad Keselowski with Matt Kenseth finishing third. Johnson, who won last week’s Coca-Cola 600, has won consecutive races 13 times.

DETROIT (AP) β€” Helio Castroneves (EHL’-ee-oh cas-troh-NEHV’-us) was the winner of the weekend’s second Detroit Grand Prix race. He finished almost 1.7 seconds ahead of Penske Racing teammate Will Power, who won the first race on Saturday.
