CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A serious wreck on a Charlotte interstate is causing major traffic problems.
Officials say a tractor trailer and another vehicle were involved in the wreck on I-85 northbound at Sugar Creek Road.
Two lanes of the northbound side have been reopened but traffic will be backed up for hours as crews continue the clean-up process. No word on injuries at this time.
