Probably not too much more of this happening this year: mowing the lawn! Some people love it, and go to great lengths to keep their yard looking immaculate. Others would rather go to jail than do yard work. And one woman actually did.
She was a bad neighbor. This was over in Lenoir, Tennessee. The woman had been piling up citations and code violations because she simply never cut the lawn. We’re not talking Homeowner’s Association problems; it was so bad the county got involved. By the time it was over, the judge gave her 5 days in jail, but then reduced it to 6 hours. The woman says her busy schedule kept her from having time to care for the yard… for the past 13 years.
And we can probably all relate to having that one neighbor in the area that drives you crazy. Maybe it’s a driveway full of broken-down cars, rude kids, or letting their garbage pile up? Or maybe they play loud music or have dogs that never stop barking.
