MOORESVILLE, NC — WCCB Charlotte has discovered new sex charges against a former school counselor in Iredell County.
Amy Saffos faces two more felony counts of sex offense involving a student. Β She worked at Lake Norman High School for almost eight years before being fired in June. Β
That’s around the time a 17-year-old student told investigators he had sex with Saffos twice at school and a third time at a home in southern Iredell County. Β There’s no word whether the new charges involve the same student.
