SPENCER, NC — The second of three suspects wanted for the murders of a Spencer man and his uncle is in jail.
24-year-old Darius Abel is locked up in the Rowan County Jail without bond. Investigators say Abel and two other men were wearing gorilla masks when they stormed into a home on 5th Street on October 8. Tony Walker and his uncle James Walker were both shot and killed.
Police arrested Kenneth Abel, Jr. earlier this week. He’s believe to be Darius Abel’s cousin.
