CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two Charlotte-Mecklenburg students are already turning heads and gaining recognition for their remarkable performances on stage.
Abby Corrigan and Mekhai Lee, of Northwest School of the Arts, won Best Actress and Best Actor respectively at this year’s Blumey Awards. They played starring roles in their school’s production of “Shrek”.
So what’s next? The teen actors head to the Big Apple!Β
