ROCK HILL, S.C. — Rock Hill Police are looking for an identified attempted murder suspect that stabbed a 42-year-old man at a Motel 6 Saturday morning.
Police responded to the hotel, which is located on Riverview Road, around 8:15 a.m. for an assault and upon arrival found bystanders attending to the stabbed victim. The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS to be treated for his serious injuries, according to police.
After talking to witnesses officers say the victim was stabbed at the hotel by an acquaintance after an argument.
The Rock Hill Criminal Investigations Division responded to continue the investigation. Detectives say 50-year-old Sheldon Duane Brown has been identified as the suspect in the case. An Attempted Murder warrant has been issued for his arrest, according to police.
Brown’s whereabouts are currently unknown and anyone with information of his location is asked to call the Rock Hill Police Department immediately.
