HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Accusations of embezzlement at a Christian school in Huntersville are now being investigated by police. Β Southlake Christian Academy filed a police report over the weekend.
The school’s Chief Financial Officer resigned last month. An attorney for the school says they started finding evidence of possible wrongdoing in mid-September, after Wayne Parker left. Β
That evidence pointed to possible involvement from Southlake Presbyterian Senior Pastor Wade Malloy. Β He resigned on October 5.
