SHELBY COUNTY, T.N. — Police say several Memphis area high school students were suspended after school officials uncovered an alleged prostitution ring inside a high school.
Investigators say a 14-year-old female student was offering sex to her classmates in the boys’ bathroom during lunchtime.
A student at the school told detectives the female student would pass notes to let boys know she was offering sex. The student also told police the girl sometimes charged for the sex acts.
No other details have been released at this time. Police are still investigating and more suspensions are possible.
