CHARLOTTE,NC–Attorney General, Roy Cooper, is telling students about texting while driving.
Cooper was at the UNC Charlotte campus Wednesday, warning about the danger of texting and driving.
Students got a chance to see just how distracting texting really is with a driving simulator.
UNC Charlotte is the first public University in the state to join as an official “it can wait” advocate.
Texting while driving is illegal in North Carolina.
