Police: One Dead, One Injured After Double Stabbing In Gastonia

GASTONIA, N.C. — The Gastonia Police are investigating a deadly double stabbing that sent two men to the hospital Tuesday morning.

According to police, the altercation happened around 5:15 a.m. on Beaverbrook Drive off of West Davidson Avenue.

Antell Kirkland, 31, and Rach-E Bobby Lynch, 36, were involved the altercation which led to both men being stabbed, police say.

Gastonia Police say both men were transported to CaroMont Regional Medical Center where Kirkland later died. Lynch was treated and released.

This is an active investigation.
