CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a northeast Charlotte homicide after a teen boy was shot and killed Sunday evening.
Detectives responded around 8:45 p.m. to North Tryon Street, off of East Arrowhead Road, after reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police located the teen with a fatal gunshot wound. Police say he was pronounced dead on scene by MEDIC.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
