Authorities say Ieshia Hicks Watkins worked with the owner of Peaceful Alternative Resources, Ronnie Robinson. Β His company is a non-profit provider of services for people suffering from mental health problems. Β
Court documents say Watkins took names of DSS clients and gave the information to Robinson so he could submit false claims to Medicaid. Β The documents say Robinson made more than $3M during the scheme. Β
He is accused of paying Watkins thousands of dollars for the information. Β Watkins is facing health care fraud conspiracy charges and charges of receiving illegal kickbacks. Β
