Bojangles Expanding Menu With Carolina-Style Pulled Pork BBQ Items

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With National Pulled Pork Day coming up on October 12, Bojangles is throwing their hat in the ring with some Carolina-style pulled pork BBQ.

The home of Famous Chicken and Biscuits is expanding its menu this week with their new items that has been described as having equal parts of vinegar tangy flavor and slow-cooked smokiness.

“Born and raised in North Carolina, we at Bojangles know Southern home-cooking like the back of our hand, and these hands have been busy smoking up the best barbecue in town,” said Chef Marshall Scarborough. “Just one bite of our hickory, smoked, pulled-pork barbecue will have you wanting to call it barBOcue.”

Bojangles BBQ options will be available as a sandwich combo with optional slaw on top, as a dinner plate or in a tub as an add-on to any Big Bo Box Family Meal, according to a release from the restaurant chain.

The barBOcue items are available for a limited time.

In addition, Bojangles is also adding the Pork Chop Griller Biscuit to its menu for a limited time.
