CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Health officials say any type of gathering that doesn’t follow the three W’s should be avoided this Halloween to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
The three W’s include wearing a face mask, watching your distance, and washing your hands often, according to a news release.
Mecklenburg County Public Health has made a flyer with specific do’s and don’ts to keep in mind while celebrating this year.
Anyone in need of advice or wants to report a dangerous situation can call Public Health’s COVID-19 hotline at 980-314-9400 open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
