
UPDATE: Crews have located the missing east Charlotte man. Harry Heath was found on Albemarle Road in east Charlotte Wednesday morning. He was missing for more than 24 hours. He is currently being checked out by medical personnel but is expected be okay.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews have continued their search for a missing man in east Charlotte. Officials say 60-year-old Harry James Heath has been missing since Tuesday morning.
He was last seen leaving an assisted living home on North Sharon Amity wearing blue jeans and a blue jean jacket. Heath is a diabetic and mentally challenged.
Police say he will answer to his name and loves to talk to anyone willing to hold a conversation with him. Heath is known to frequent the Albermarle Road at Redmond Road area.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
