ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested three teens for allegedly stealing metal roofing from an unoccupied residence. Β
Investigators say an alert citizen called police after they saw the teens leaving a home on Jay Stafford Lane. Β Once officers stopped the vehicle, they noticed metal roofing in the bed of the truck. Β
Investigators determined the roofing was the same roofing missing from the residence. Β
Seventeen-year-old Jacob Thomas, 17-year-old William Sherrick and 19-year-old Malcolm Stewart were each charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering and three counts of felony larceny.
