ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The new Miss America said she will rise above negative comments she’s receiving on social media. Miss New York won the crown Sunday night in Atlantic City. Soon after, the comments started.
Nina Davuluri is the first Indian-American to win the title. People who apparently don’t understand where India is, are calling her a Muslim and a terrorist. Davuluri said she’s happy the Miss America organization is embracing diversity.
