WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Stores in West Hollywood can no longer sell fur clothing. The ban went into effect last weekend. Any store caught selling animal furs will face a minimum $250 fine. People can still wear fur — as long as they bought it somewhere else. The city considers itself the “Humane capital of the United States.” West Hollywood also bans people from declawing cats.
