Above-Average Temperatures Dominate the End of the Week

Above-average temperatures dominate Friday and the weekend.

A cold night ahead, but above freezing – for most! The High Country will bottom out right near freezing where the Piedmont will see lows in the upper 30s. Gradual warming dominates the end of the week and weekend as we see south wind pulling up warmer air. This southerly flow is due to a ridge of high pressure moving away and an area of low pressure moving in from the west. This low pressure will bring the chance for isolated showers on Sunday and scattered showers Monday. In wake of the front associated with the low, highs drop back to 50Β° as we kick off next week.

Tonight: Chilly, but not as cold. Low: 38Β°. Wind: Calm.

Friday: Mostly Sunny Skies. High: 65Β°. Wind: S/SW 5.

Friday Night: Mostly Cloudy. Low: 45Β°. Wind: Light S/SW.

Saturday: Partly Sunny. High: 65Β°. Wind: S/SW 5-15.

Have a great end of your week!Kaitlin
