Habitat for Humanity of The Charlotte Region Helps Family Build Home

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Wells Fargo Foundation recently granted Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region $200,000 to build affordable homes for two families in our area.

One of the family’s escaped poverty in Mexico and became legalized in the United States.

Rising’s Derek James talked with the family about how Habitat Charlotte helped them fulfill their dream of owning a home.
