Suspected Shooter Turns Himself In

Β LENOIR, NC — Lenoir Police say a man accused of shooting a Food Lion manager Sunday morning has turned himself in. Β Bill Mudd, Jr. is accused of shooting Michael Ray Keller several times, and leaving him for dead.
Investigators say Mudd opened fire at the grocery store on Wilkesboro Boulevard around 7:00 Sunday morning, and that the two men know each other. Β Keller was taken to CMC to be treated. Β Mudd was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
