NEW YORK, N.Y. — TV personality Elisabeth Hasselback called the Black Lives Matter movement a hate group during an on-air interview.
Reports say the ‘Fox and Friends’ co-host was discussing the Minnesota protests with a guest when she made the comment. Hasselback asked her guest, conservative black writer Kevin Jackson, “Kevin, why has the Black Lives Matter movement not been classified as a hate group? How much more has to go in this direction before someone actually labels it as such?”
Jackson responded, “Well they should do it, but unfortunately it’s being financed by the leftists. Ironically it’s people that have nothing, really no concern at all about black lives.”
Hasselback’s comments have reportedly sparked outrage online. As a response, she took to Twitter to defend her comment, stating that she was not voicing her true opinion on the matter.
My question was NOT my opinion it was for my guest & was @ the St Paul group (NOT entire BLM) calling for cops to be “fried like bacon”.
