CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fire Investigators with the Charlotte Fire Department and Arson Investigators with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department say they are investigating a fire in west Charlotte that left one person dead.
Investigators say they responded to the deadly fire on Friday, January 8th around 11:20 p.m. on Archer Avenue to find a shed in the rear of a structure fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters say they found a deceased subject inside the shed during their search.
