GoFundMe Started For Salisbury Teacher Who Died After Contracting COVID-19
SALISBURY, N.C. — A GoFundMe was created to support the young family of a Salisbury P.E. teacher who died from COVID-19 complications on January 19th.
Matthew Beaver was a healthy 40-year-old P.E. teacher at Knox Middle School in Salisbury, N.C. when he passed away suddenly after contracting coronavirus.
Beaver leaves his wife Ruth Beaver and their two children, 5-year-old Jackson Beaver and 3-year-old Ella Beaver, behind.
The GoFundMe will raise money for the family as they navigate through this difficult time.
The Knox Cares Committee will also be in contact with his family to provide meals, gift cards, and other donations.
