Boone Police Charge A Man For Breaking & Entering At A Local Steakhouse

BOONE, N.C. — Officers with the Boone Police Department say Bryan Davis, 49, of Boone was arrested after breaking into a local steakhouse and stealing a large amount of money.

Davis is charged with breaking and entering and larceny, and is being held under a $10,000 bond, according to a news release.

Detectives say they responded to the robbery on Tuesday, January 26th at Sagebrush Steakhouse on Highway 105, and during their investigation they discovered one suspect whose apartment they searched on Winklers Creek Road.

Detectives say they found a large amount of money taken from the business as well as physical evidence nearby while searching the apartment.

Police say the suspect, Davis, confessed to the robbery and is scheduled to appear in Watauga County District Court on March 5th.
