Chesterfield County Man Arrested After 73-Year-Old Grandmother Stabbed To Death On Valentine’s Day

Deputies responded around 4 p.m. to Winburn Street in Patrick, South Carolina in reference to family members requesting a welfare check.

According to the sheriff’s office, when deputies arrived they found the grandmother, Geraldine Sellers Marshall, dead due to multiple stab wounds to her upper body.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that her grandson, 30-year-old David Antonio Little, Jr., stabbed her multiple times, deputies say. Motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time.

The sheriff’s office, Cheraw Police Department, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Crime Scene Unit, and the Darlington County Coroner’s Office are investigating this incident.

Deputies say Little is in custody and will be charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
