GASTONIA, N.C. — Gaston County Police say Wesley Ross, 18, was arrested on March 3rd after a search warrant revealed he was in possession of child pornography.
Ross is charged with three felony counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a child and three felony counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a child, according to a news release.
Detectives say the search came as a result of a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and during the search detectives seized electronic devices belonging to Ross containing videos of child pornography.
Investigators say Ross was released from the Gaston County Jail on a $10,000 unsecured bond after his arrest.
The investigation into this case remains active and ongoing.
